Fascist Policies Are Erasing Our Liberty

I never thought that this great country of ours would ever slip into a fascist and authoritarian nightmare.  With the election of B. Hussein Obama and the takeover of Congress by the Democrats, we have now entered into a very dangerous period of time in our nation's history.  We must examine the actions taken by this administration and the current Congress as irrefutable evidence of the true goal of these Statists; control over the thoughts, behavior, and choices of the populace.  The following is a list of egregious violations of individual liberty perpetrated by the Democrats onto the American people:

1. The continued appointment by President Obama of the various "czars" within the federal bureaucracy.  2.  The passage of economic stimulus legislation.  3.  The passage of cap and trade legislation in the House of Representatives.  4.  The demonization and excoriation of average, and patriotic American citizens for exercising their 1st Amendment rights of free speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.  5.  The support for a socialized, government-run healthcare system.  6.  The creation of an e-mail address for citizens to provide the White House with the private e-mails of Americans who disagree with the policies of the administration.  7.  The organization and ordering of union members and ACORN to counter demonstrate against and rough-up people who disagree with the extreme leftist policies of the president and Congress.  8.  The takeover of private corporations, the setting of wages, and the firing of chief executive officers.  9.  The takeover of financial institutions.

All of these actions by the Democrats seek to control the behavior and choices of the American people.  What will be next?  These Statists will never stop with their incessant attempts to control the citizenry.  Upon further examination of each of these examples, it is glaringly clear that these actions are indeed unconstitutional.  The list that I have provided is only the beginning.  Hopefully the American people will be called to action in 2010 and vote these fascists out of office in November.

Propaganda Rallies Are A Desperate Move

Right now President Obama is trying to salvage his Statist healthcare "reform" at another "townhall" event in Belgrade Montana.  As I continue to watch this event live on Fox News, it is glaringly apparent that this is another complete phony, choreographed, and staged event.  The people in the audience are so obviously smitten with the messianic aura of the "chosen one".  The smiles on their faces, the ready applause with every deceitful line delivered, the nodding of heads in steady agreement are all irrefutable evidence of the contrived nature of this so called townhall.  This president is a complete and utter failure.  He is locked in a perpetual campaign, instead of actually governing.  These townhalls (campaign rallies) would make any totalitarian minister of propaganda proud.  The people at these events are nothing more than Obama campaign supporters.  The people with actual grievances are left to protest outside.  If this president had any courage, he would invite every single one of the fine Americans protesting outside into the hall and send his union thugs and campaign workers home.  Of course he cannot do that because it would contradict the tactics of the Statist.  Just like his campaign speeches with record crowds, these townhalls are nothing more than staged propaganda events that seek to fool the American public into thinking that his policies have the support of the majority.  The polls are telling the real story.

Changing The Subject

By now we have all seen the various ways that the Democrats have attempted to change the subject from a debate about healthcare to leveling charges against average everyday Americans.  The truth is, the Democrats know that they are seriously losing the debate so they are resorting to the juvenile tactics of name calling.  When the Speaker of the House labels old ladies and concerned parents of disabled children as Nazis we have come to a new low in this country.  The people showing up at Townhall meetings are not part of an organized effort by the GOP to prevent healthcare reform, or part of an orchestrated mob.  These people are mothers, fathers, grandparents, Marines, soldiers, doctors, and most importantly citizens.  Responsible Americans don't have the time to be a part of an "angry mob".  They are usually too busy working, raising families, and contributing to their communities.  The healthcare issue is the crossroad that will finally put a stop to the maddness of the Statist agenda.  The American people have awoken.  They have had enough of the command and control policies of the Obama Administration.  The America we now live in is becomming more and more fascist by the day.  The examples are too numerous to list.  We have two major problems now in this country.  First, we have a political party that is using the authority to legislate to create dependence among the populace and second, we have a portion of the populace with an entitlement mentality who are all too willing to take the government handouts in exchange for their loyalty.  When people lose the ability to take care of themselves and they constantly rely on the government for help, they become beholden to that government, thus giving that government the authority to make personal decisions for them.  What results is the end of liberty for all Americans.  This is the real "culture of corruption".

Politics of Change?

After President Obama's address to House Democrats last night, America had an eye opening view of what a hyper-partisan he really is.  While Obama promised us all that he would govern to provide us with "hope" and "change", all he delivers is empty left wing rhetoric.  Last night, President Obama lectured us about how the "misguided criticisms of his plan echo the failed theories that helped lead us into the current economic crisis-the notion that tax cuts alone will sollve all of our problems."  Where are the politics of change and hope?  Can't the president take a little criticism?  As if his ideas of massive spending are anything new or innnovative.  We have all been there before.  The New Deal and Great Society are two perfect examples of such orthodox liberal spending programs disguised as "stimulus".  The remark that left the worst taste in my mouth was when Presdient Obama spoke of the crticisms that this bill was nothing but a spending bill, and his very smug response was, "of course it is.  What did you think stimulus is?"   I could just as smugly reply to Obama with this retort:  "Of course we know this is a spending bill.  Spending is not stimulative, tax cuts are."  Obama is not offering anything to the American people except the same old Washington partisan politics.  Massive spending is nothing new to this country.  Our new president is nothing more than an empty suit.

Return To Reaganism

For my very first post, I will speak to the title of my blog.  I know all true conservatives agree, that the priciples of our greatest President, Ronald Reagan, are simply not just tired old beliefs of a bygone era.  These principles are timeless and they should guide our country once again.  I only hope that new RNC Chairman Michael Steele will infuse the Republican Party with these principles once again.  Those Republicans that cannot bring themselves to espouse Reaganism need to leave the party.
